Brian Walker, P.E. Selected to Leadership (LeaP) Class of 2015

BDI’s Brian Walker, P.E., was selected to be a member of the Pensacola Chamber Foundation’s Leadership Pensacola (LeaP) Class of 2015.

LeaP is a program that aims to develop and produce some of the finest community-minded leaders in Northwest Florida.

To date, more than 1,500 people have completed the Leadership Pensacola program and have acquired the skills, passion and connections to help them become community trustees.

Mr. Walker, a Pensacola native, graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida in 2002. He is registered as a Florida Professional Engineer, Florida Professional Project Manager and a Construction Document Technologist. Brian has certification from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection in Qualified Stormwater Management.

His professional experience is comprised of planning and design of a wide range of civil engineering projects, including stormwater management, site development, transportation and utility system design. Project experience includes planning, permitting, design development, drafting procurement documents, bid coordination, and construction administration for public, private, and federal clients. His stormwater design experience is bolstered by the fact that he has been involved in both design creation on the private companies and the review for Code compliance for public entities. Furthermore, Mr. Walker has frequently been called upon to supervise large project teams of engineers, scientists, and other design experts found in multiple office locales.
