We are currently seeking an experienced, client focused, production oriented Sr. Project Manager for our Tampa, FL office. FL PE required, 10+ years hands-on experience in water/wastewater design and storm water modeling/permitting. Excellent salary and benefits.
Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Master’s Degree a bonus
- Over 10 years of experience in a similar position
- Proven ability to generate a high volume of quality engineering designs
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring and developing strong technical skills among technical staff.
- Documented ability to communicate effectively during all phases of the project with the client and with team members regarding technical and non-technical elements of the project.
- Well-established skill as a Project Manager of multiple projects from development through construction and start-up.
- Demonstrated experience in developing strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Keen understanding of regulatory requirements for large scale public works projects in the region.
Responsibilities
- Providing superior civil and environmental engineering designs that serve a broad range of needs and clients.
- Application of knowledge and expertise acquired through progressive experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions.
- Providing expert intervention and leadership for the most complex technical issues.
- Managing multi-million dollar, multi-discipline projects serving municipal clients through construction and start-up.
- Efficiently and effectively managing multiple projects/project teams of varying sizes and complexity with responsibility for budget, schedule, contract obligations and quality standards.
- Manage daily interaction with municipal clients and staff.
- Support growth of the BDI Tampa market in broadening the client base and the range of engineering services provided.
