On January 21, 2016, Ryan Weed, P.E. and Civil Engineer was awarded the Baskerville-Donovan’s Chairman’s Award for 2015. The Chairman’s Award recognizes examples of valued behaviors by an employee over the past year that has had an extraordinary impact for the organization.
Ryan was presented with the award by Fred C. Donovan, Sr., President and CEO of Baskerville-Donovan, Inc. at a company All-Hands meeting on January 21, 2016 with BDI employees and members of his family in attendance. He was also presented with a $1,000 check at a luncheon with BDI’s Board of Directors on January 25, 2016.
Ryan began his career with BDI as a CO-OP student in 1999, working in both the Pensacola and Mobile offices. After graduating from the University of South Alabama in 2002, he became an Engineering Intern in BDI’s Mobile office and obtained his P.E. license in 2006. He left BDI in 2007 to do missionary work in Central Asia and returned full-time in 2010 as a Civil Engineer in BDI’s Civil Engineering Department in the Pensacola office.
