In April 2014, the Santa Rosa County Commissioners hired Baskerville-Donovan, Inc. to study the drainage problems in the Holley By The Sea community and to find solutions. BDI has set up a survey for HBTS residents to respond to help BDI determine exact problem areas. Presently, the firm has received over 150 responses.
At the November 13, 2014 Santa Rosa Board of County Commission Meeting, Daniel Broxson, PE, Senior Project Engineer, told commissioners that the next step will be to finalize the study. The study will identify shovel-ready projects that the County could immediately complete to resolve some of the HBTS flooding issues.
According to BDI, the report should be ready in early 2015.
