Civil Environmental Engineer

Location: Pensacola, FL


  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (preferred)
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam


  • Able to follow detailed instructions and execute tasks in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of basic engineering principles and techniques
  • Ability to apply standard engineering principles to practical problems
  • Ability to use engineering equipment and tools, including computer applications
  • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, to relate abstract ideas into actual needs and adopt an effective course of action
  • Willing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Software Experience:

  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word; AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)

Physical Demands


Must be able to read documents, use computers and see other materials necessary for the ongoing development and serving of clients


Must be able to hear and speak clearly


Must be able to sit in a seated position; moving about on foot to accomplish tasks

Lifting/Repetitive Motions/Fingering:

Ability to lift office supplies; make substantial movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers; picking, pinching typing or otherwise working primarily with the fingers rather than the whole hand

Working Conditions and Environmental:

Professional office environment interacting with other design team members to provide quality design products.  Provide field observations of electrical, instrumentation, and control system installations, and perform trouble-shooting testing and investigations on quality issues and malfunctioning equipment
